INSPECTION SERVICES

Here's just some of our inspection services available. Feel free to ask us about other types of inspections as needed. We perform all inspections to meet and or exceed Internachi Inspection Standards of Practice.

FULL HOME INSPECTION

Undoubtedly, a home stands as one of the most substantial investments you'll undertake. To comprehend the state of this investment, my role involves a non-intrusive assessment of the readily accessible structure, systems, and components of the property. While it's important to acknowledge that no inspection can unveil every potential issue, the process will notably alleviate your concerns by equipping you with the insights required to make a well-informed decision when purchasing a home.

WDO TERMITE INSPECTION

The havoc wood-destroying insects can wreak upon a home's wooden structures is substantial. Often concealed, their presence might remain unnoticed for extended periods. Yet, distinctive signs for various species hint at their existence. We can help get a diligent examination of your property for any traces of infestation, preempting potential costly issues down the line.

POOL & SPA INSPECTION

Ensuring lasting pool enjoyment demands consistent upkeep and inspection. Your pool maintenance expert oversees chemistry and cleanliness, but I extend my inspection to encompass comprehensive safety and condition assessment. My checklist covers: water levels, leaks, valves, drains, grates, blockages, staining, heater, fencing, deck, electrical safety, and beyond. Let's guarantee your pool's vitality together.

INFRARED INSPECTION

Infrared Certified InterNACHI.jpg.webp

Leveraging advanced infrared technology, I reveal hidden issues. This camera translates heat into color gradients, highlighting temperature disparities. It uncovers energy loss, moisture, electrical hotspots, and potential threats like pests and flue leaks. Safety and insight combined.

ANNUAL HOME MAINTENANCE INSPECTION

For new homeowners, an Annual Home Maintenance Inspection is crucial. It sheds light on proper upkeep, offering guidance for seasonal and recurring tasks. Let me initiate your responsible homeownership journey by spotting issues and educating you on annual maintenance. Veteran homeowners benefit too, as I ensure your home's upkeep and identify any recent concerns.

PRE-DRYWALL INSPECTION

To guarantee adherence to specifications, a pre-drywall inspection is key. Conducted after installing key elements like doors, windows, foundation, and more, it occurs before hanging drywall. This step is vital as it prevents issues from being hidden and becoming costly post-completion.

HEALTHY HOME INSPECTION

Strong evidence links housing conditions to human health. Specific defects cost billions yearly, affecting both health and society's economic well-being.

DRONE INSPECTION

I employ advanced camera drones to inspect challenging or unsafe areas like tall roofs, providing close-up views of issues and defects. Plus, I can capture aerial property photos for listings and informative use.

MOISTURE INSPECTION

Moisture meters gauge and measure material dampness. I use them near plumbing, AC units, bathrooms, and wooden areas. Appliances or leaks can elevate moisture levels. With a moisture meter, I detect and address moisture sources, preventing mold growth once identified.

NEW CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

Building a new home? I oversee construction phases, ensuring adherence to your specifications. Payment checks verify completed work. Pre-project completion, I help create a final to-do list. It's a New Construction Inspection tailored for you, not code compliance for your contractor.

REPAIR VERIFICATION / FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION

Had remodeling or repairs? I inspect to ensure quality meets standards and your requirements. It's not for code compliance but to confirm proper completion.

DECK INSPECTION

Deck inspections follow deck construction logic. Begin at the base. If it's unsafe underneath, don't proceed onto the deck; report safety issues.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM INSPECTION

An electrical home inspection provides a thorough examination of your entire electrical system, ensuring all electrical wires, systems, and components (such as appliances) meet legal safety standards.

CHIMNEY & FIREPLACE INSPECTION

A level-one chimney inspection includes a visual check of the fireplace and chimney without any special equipment or climbing up on the roof. The inspector will come to your house with a flashlight; look for damage, obstructions, creosote buildup, and soot; and tell you if the chimney requires sweeping.

MONSTER FREE INSPECTION

Moving to a new home can be stressful for children, too. That’s why I offer a Monster-Free Inspection and Certificate. Your child can accompany me while I inspect under their bed, under the stairs, in the closet, and anywhere else they want so I can assure them that there aren’t any monsters. Simply request this service when I schedule your inspection and I’ll bring a personalized Monster-Free Certificate with me.

SANTA SAFE CHIMNEY INSPECTION

We can do many things to keep Santa's travel down the chimney safe while he arrives at your home. Even though there will always be risks when traveling down the chimney, there are things we can do to improve safety.
